Building in public with AI
Direct AI with intent, not vibes.
Most AI advice is about going faster. But speed was never the problem — judgment is. Without it, you just ship the wrong thing faster.
Watch me build my own side-projects alongside a full-time job — bots doing the heavy lifting, me making the calls about what's worth building. Steal my workflows, and finally get your own thing off the ground.

What I believe
Building with AI is mostly a thinking problem.
-
Decide before you build anything.
The model will happily make whatever you point it at. Whether it's worth making — the right thing, for the right person, to a bar you've actually set — is the one call it can't make for you. That call is the whole game.
-
Direct the bots — don't chase them.
You don't need to be an expert in code, design, or copy — you need to recognize good work and tell the bots what you want. Direction and taste are the skills that last; the tools underneath them keep changing.
-
Nobody's coming to save you.
Good thing you don't need them. One decided person with AI can now make what used to take a team and a budget. The honest answer isn't anxiety, it's agency: decide, start, and you'll be surprised how far it takes you.
Who's Magda
No team, no runway — the same evenings and weekends you have.
Which means I'm not reporting from the far side of success — I'm a step ahead on the same path, turning around to show you what I just figured out. When I haven't cracked something yet, I'll say so. What I most want you to walk away with is the mental models for building well — the part that keeps paying off no matter which bot's in the spotlight.

Yes — a bot helped write this page. The em dashes are a dead giveaway (they can't quit them). But every call about what it actually says was mine. Just practicing what I preach — let AI do the work, the thinking stays human.
